a very nice article about this car can be found in the issue no.39 of Jaguar Heritage Archive from 2007 with pictures also from 1971 when it was taken out of the garage of the long time owner, Princess Constance Wilcox Pignatelli in Madison, Connecticut. The old plate can only partly be sen in the photos. Car is with JHT now restored.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
