Also finished 2nd in 1939 RAC Rally, driven by SH Newsome, As EHP 202 was a similar S.S. 100 Jaguar 3½ Litre - www.imcdb.org/vehicle_46506-SS-100-Jaguar-3½-Litre-1939.html - it suggests they were both factory fleet registrations and that the 1939 RAC entry was either a works entry or a friendly loan.
