This 'Barn Discovery' Jaguar 1.5 litre comes with no history whatsoever.

It has at some stage been converted to what you see today from a saloon and it has been dry stored for many years but nobody, including the vendor, seems to know for how long or indeed who has done the work to it. Some parts have obviously been rechromed and various work has been done but certainly the front part of the body looks to be original and the car stands on wire wheels.

We have obtained from Jaguar a Heritage Certificate that confirms the car to be a saloon in right hand drive and was first supplied by Attwoods. It was manufactured on the first of February 1939 and dispatched on the seventh of the same month. The body number is A3650 and the car was originally Black with Silver trim.

This interesting barn find is in need of total restoration. Who out there has a patient wife because the Golf course will have to be given a miss!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
